Hi Tixerand!
Welcome to the forum. A very interesting introduction- I'm sure we have a lot to talk about! And a beautiful drawing too, I take that it's one of your own?
Might I ask, how did you come across our website?

Yes, I drew that as the logo for my Church of the Abject:Ophite Satanism philosophy 'project' about a year and a half ago. My take on the classic ouroboros, but with a Lovecraftian spin.
I was talking a lot at the time about the things of the unmanifest world below, and how all things 'pulled in' to the manifest world exists, on some level, in that unmanifest reality, with all things ever written or imagined having had to have existed in order for it to be written/imagined in the sunlit world. I used the example of Cthulhu and his Elder Ones existing, in that regard at least, and coming to Lovecraft via his thoughts and imagination to be brought into our world.
So, when designing the logo for that philosophy, I wanted to hint at that.

Hi V-a, thank you for the welcome, what does your profile initials stands for?

Re: Introductions
I posted two essays yesterday, one in the Philosophy section, the other in Symbolism. They pretty much express where I am coming from (in certain ways at least). I also have a shop (which is very sparse at the moment, as I have only recently brought it back online). There is a link in my profile if you are interested. If it is alright with the group, I would love to post some of my occult themed art and such in the future.Mera wrote:Hi Tixrand, it's nice to meet you, do you have anything online i.e articles, blogs etc I can have a look at, sounds interesting the combination you have been exploring. Most welcome! We should have a thread for that on the art section, but if we don't, feel free to make one. Your shop I already spied yesterday. Interesting!Tixerand wrote: If it is alright with the group, I would love to post some of my occult themed art and such in the future.
Spotted the Lovecraftian influence, and liked this!
