What are you listening to at the moment?
Re: What are you listening to at the moment?
Gehenna has also been on my playlist lately. Right now I'm listening to Night of the Serpent's Judgement. First Spell may just be the best Gehenna ever.

I have literally been listening to Turbo Lover on repeat with little splashes of Eurodance and Leadbelly tunes in between.

Music from Lord of The Rings-movies. I don't really like the films so much but I often listen the soundtracks when I'm painting.

I'm listening to Queen and Another One bites the Dust. My relatives wouldn't have understood my choice of music for a passed one uncle. I'm quite high with this song, for I have hailed my uncle with it numerous times.

Re: What are you listening to at the moment?
The last few days I have listened to nothing but as many versions of Gloomy Sunday as I could get my greedy little hands on. Diamanda Galas's version reigns supreme for me, but Paul Robeson's version that inspired it is a very close second for me.
I am unfortunately very obsessive about music, and if I'm stuck on a song, it is often all I listen to for a period of time. Like my brain needs to fill up on it to max capacity before releasing its hold. My partner just recently told me how tedious he finds this tick of mine
Before my bout with Gloomy Sunday, I was stuck on Jon English's Six Ribbons which I originally know from Green Carnation's cover of it and Alonely by Nightingale because Dan Swanö *heart eyes*

Noise was discussed at the recent Lodge Lucifer meeting. Let's start off with one of my favorite Japanese corrosive abrasive brain melters, Government Alpha:

The Gathering. Though maybe their weakest album with Anneke, Home does have this beautiful song. This live recording is from comeback with Anneke, in 2015.

Anenzephalia, Ephemeral Dawn (1995).
Always when I listen to this record I think of Silent Hill. Maybe Akira Yamaoka heard it too.

I just purchased this on bandcamp a couple of weeks ago, remembering how highly you spoke of it. It’s excellent.Benemal wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 4:38 pm Anenzephalia, Ephemeral Dawn (1995).
