It is from the movie Lost Boys. Tim Cappello is the ripped sax-player from the beach festival at the beginning of the film. Cappello's version is magnificent cover. It oozes with the spirit of The 80's.Polyhymnia wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2020 3:21 am I'm unfamiliar with the third, but will become acquainted shortly here.

One day of Brahma has 14 Indras; his life has 54 000 Indras. One day of Vishnu is the lifetime of Brahma. The lifetime of Vishnu is one day of Shiva.

Hahahahaha most excellent. My husband wanted to get a tattoo of that guy because of the movie.

R.I.P. Joel Schumacher, that one's also my favorite by him. 8MM might be of interest to SoA members. He did a funny interview a few months before he died, where he said he'd had sex with a lot of Hollywood stars, that everyone thinks are straight. Hollywood lore is a guilty pleasure for me.

That's the one with Nicholas Cage? I don't think I've seen it, but perhaps now is the time

Wow, thanks! As I'm very self-critical, I'd rate it 7/10 at best which is perhaps the worst rating one can give to a record (it's "ok").
I've been visiting Primordial after a long break. To the Nameless Dead is one of their best albums.

A Buddhist monk plays a cover of Judas Priest's "Breaking The Laeäw". I have played this cover with with My brand back in the day and it is such a fun song to play.

I don't like the band in general but this cover of them is excellent. I usually sing it along and use it as a form of prayer.

Kate Bush's "Running up that Hill" has a similar theme. It was supposed to be named "A Deal with God", but that was apparently considered blasphemous. Anyway, I love that song.Segel wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 12:24 pm this makes me happy for four minutes, video and song lol

Started listening to Enigma after a long time. This album really gives me those "vibes" I desperately need.
