On personal level: objectively: I’m unable to draw a line between magic and non-magic nor see a reason to do so so it comes to “everything is magic” and as such doesn’t mean much if anything. Subjectively: it’s a left-handed equivalent to “holy”. Comparing to “holy” the tone is much murkier, dark and amoral (not evil but beyond good and evil) and stresses sense of heresy, danger and madness but also freedom and unworldly beauty, whereas holy in my mind refers more to light, serenenity, good, beauty in mundane (certain painting of Vermeer comes to mind but I dont know it's name...) etc. Word sacred contains both.
When I speak of it: I usually mean (1) forces, to which (2) humans are able to interact with directly and knowingly, and (3) natural sciences or hoi polloi do not yet recognize, which means when they become real on public eye they are no longer magic.
