Worlds greatest Belgian ecoanarchists zealots, Militia. There's something uniquely apocalyptic about their music. So it's not really hippie music, even though this record has whale song. Third track Aodity/Fire is the end of civilization.https://youtu.be/oegGzHyPx38
Also the records Everything Is One and Power, Propaganda & Production are my favorites in militant industrial. I listened to the track A Kite Of Glass In Bloody Red Sky (https://youtu.be/TYLk3VoMFbU) four times yesterday. Puts me in a trance.

Didn't know the third one. Reminded of an american dude, who did records under different monikers, that all sound like some black metal fan who is into Dungeons And Dragons, on the Amiga -500. It's pretty funny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysToC06cKI0

I once put on Maid Of Orleans at an SoA party. My favorite song by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark is "Enola Gay". The keyboard is early eighties condensed into a few notes.

For a while I've had it in my mind to promote some of my favorites, from the 70's. Let's start with a fairly well known record; Gong's You (1974). A psychedelia/acid classic. A very structured record, not a jam band type of thing. There's a narrative that's a joy to listen to. It's cult classic for a reason. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H9skRFd9WLE

Another cult classic, Brainticket's ancient Egypt themed Celestial Ocean (1973). Different style from Gong, but also has structure and narrative. One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard. Wish it was twice as long. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BK8yJiIZ5hc

These are relatively mainstream for cult classics. You might even find them on cd in your local library.
So something strange and unique, and spooky; Hathor, by Igor Wakhevitch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkz4GVkW2-o&t=1411s
(amusingly, I just went to look at reviews on RYM, one user said "The soundtrack to summoning Azazel from a decrepit Russian satellite")
