Recognizing such warm locations from within one's soul is such a precious thing to have. I do believe that cultivating the warmth of that hearth at the core of oneself towards one's outer constitution is an act of magic.

The way the lyrics followed the film narrative gave the song almost biblical, simple tone, although laden with Walker's signature lyrical style. Yesterday I spent almost the whole day following an inspiration which came partly from here. Thank you for sharing.

I've probably listened 'Angelina', the most from Scott Walker. Depressive, grand and delightfully cheesy song.

Yeah, I know....
Not very satanic.
But my toddler loved that song.

Because the song causes earworm, it’s kind of satanic... :)

Earworm is another thing but does anyone else have a bad habbit to play a song over and over again to get into the same kind of emotional state as last time, some kind of overeating. At the moment I have these two songs. These lyrics don’t move me so much. I always wait for the ending parts of these songs because those guitars gives shivers down my spine. At least a second song everyone has heard like a hundred times
Not very satanic songs eather=)

I just found this gem that sounds like a lullaby. Sang by an award winning Norwegian folk artist, Agnes Buen Garnås, coming from a lineage of traditional musicians: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=r8b4CS1daaE

I might lean towards such a thing when I find a song that has some specific element I have hard time finding from no where else and enjoy immensely. Examples of this has been a soft bass guitar, perhaps a fretless one, present for example in Kate Bush's All the Love and in Tähtiportti's Yölepakot.

When I was about 5 years old, I borrowed a Tapani Kansa record from my god parents because it had one song that had this one line that worked as a powerful hook for me. I was awestruck by the power of music and listened to that one song on repeat until my mom lost her temper. :D Some time ago I tried to revisit the hook, but could not find it amidst the terrible, terrible music on the album.

Been listening to Death in June alot lately. One of their latest, Essence!, was a surprisingly good album. Over 40 years of simple guitar songs with monotone singing and it doesn't get old. Surely they have had some additional experimental elements here and there but the main formula has been more or less the same from the start. The song Trigger especially hits home for me: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DraftPUeCFI

I just love the song "Kesän lapsi" 😅

MEMORIA: One-Winged Angel . One of the best versions of the song, One Winged Angel is one of the greatest video game songs of all time in my opinion.
