The singer and main man died in a car accident a little while after finishing the song Kiss My Ashed Goodbye. Can recommend the whole band.
David Gold is a Canadian treasure. I love them, but that song in particular always gets me. Today is a nice, gloomy Woods of Ypres kind of day.

Too bad he had to go so early, who knows what he / they would have accomplished in music. I just got to know the band in the spring, and it has been a stable band in my listening since then.

This is an axcellent, a little bit doomish, metal album I heard the first time a long ago and remembered again this year. Perfect for this summer night when delving into deep thoughts about the world.

Saturnus is also an excellent band, IMHO. I love the albums Veronika Decides to Die and Saturn in Ascension.
Not much time for music this week, but I've been checking out the latest Green Carnation offering which slipped past my radar last year.
This video was done by the same artist who did Borknager's
video for Up North .
Visually stunning and I love both songs.

Rammstein Ich Will. Ich Will and Du Hast are my favorite tracks of the band. Can't really decide which i prefer though.
