It has an excellent casting from the movie "It: The First Chapter" (Sophia Lillis and Wyatt Oleff), and it is about a teenage girl who finds out she is a superhero and a lesbian (in tha order). The Series fearures also a band called the "Blood Witch", wich sounds very good. I went immediately to find out why haven't I heard about this band before, and turned out it was formed just for the serie's soundtrack. But If you lisää like Echo & The Bunnymen, I think you'll enjoy Blood Witch, too.
I agree! I've always felt it was the perfect song from the moment I first heard it, which I think was in Grosse Pointe Blanke with John Cusack and Minnie Driver. It made quite the impression on my 11 year old mind, and in my teens I rediscovered it and I don't think it's ever left my rotation because I can't seem to get sick of it. I just looked up the series! I will give it a watch and check out Bloodwitch! Thanks for the recommendation!

I've been slowly "getting in" of the new Samael album Hegemony. It's not their best but very good album nevertheless.

I recently met my longtime friend after a long pause and found out he has a new project called Hiitola Unholy Creatures.

I can only recommend OM to every one who has trouble to sleep. There is no way out for those who wish to ascend, not in times of Awakening dreaming.

Sleep trouble and music go hand in hand for me. Last night was the longest in ages which could be foreseen by the many songs that played in my head during the evening and on to the night. The songs ranged from a Finnish childrens song sang during the Easter witch rituals 'Aika Monta Noitaa', to ambient and pop music tracks. My mind is not calmed to sleep even by the most calm ambient, on the contrary it gets excited by the contrasting calm and observes it in awe without blinking. Here are three tracks of ambient synthesizer music I've been listening to:

My favorite albums from OM
I have Pilgrimage too, but I think other instruments and their timbre make the affore mentioned more interesting listening experience than just drums and bass guitar.
But for sleeping problems I think calm bass and drums with Cisneros' vocals can make one sleep better too.

Selected Ambient Works II has never been among my favorites by RDJ, but it's magic sounds, like everything he did in the early 90's. It's the only one I didn't buy back in 97-98, when I was a the biggest RDJ fan in the country. Rhubarb reminded me of Donkey Rhubarb, of which the silly music video is one my friends eight year old boy's favorites. He called it "psychedelic", which warmed my old heart.

Here's going back to 1990; one of my fave tracks by The Twin:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k147l-UQqkw

But something more recent, here's a track by Luigi Tozzi and Antonio Ruscito, that I love: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kayEUgs9W5I

I am the same in this regard. When I was younger I needed music to fall asleep with the Cure and Lustmord being favourites. These days even getting an ear worm at bedtime will make it nearly impossible for me to go to sleep, and in this case the song will usually permeate my dream state and still be in my head when I wake up. I have a pretty good memory for remembering song lyrics and melodies, and have since I was a child. I often wonder if it's because of the way my brain processes music, and if some of that cementing is done in those moments when a song drenches both my waking and unconscious thoughts.

I had always dismissed Om as just a stoner band. I'm glad you guys brought them up because I see how wrong I was. I mean, I still get some stoner vibes for sure, but I'm glad to see there's so much more 8-)

I've been listening to alot of the old, trashy, fast stuff lately.

And something I like to do to relax is to watch old concert footage. I really like this footage of Pure Hell.

I really enjoy listening to early European hardcore punk of the so-called UK-82 variety. For some reason, in North America hc-punk is completely different. But in South America hc-punk sounds very Europian.
