Lodge Phanes is an official lodge of the Star of Azazel. The lodge follows the Star of Azazel’s principles and is administered by long term brethren.
Objectives of the lodge are to:
– Translate, distribute, publish and create new Star of Azazel material in English
– Bring together members from various countries
– Aid in establishing physical lodges internationally
– Serve as an official lodge of the fraternity by following its basic principles and participating in its work
Protogonos distribution works under lodge Phanes, as our official distributor in North America.
In our applicants, we value motivation, respect towards others and sincerity over any other traits.
We expect our members to be able to communicate with one another, and to seek growth in their lives as individuals on both a spiritual and mundane level. We accept theistic, agnostic and atheistic views in members. Beginners and people with years of experience are equally welcome.
Lodge Phanes does not offer grades or a pupil-teacher relationship. We expect that our applicants are capable of studying and working independently, and when so required, partaking into group work; be that spiritual or mundane, in a dynamic way. Our applicants must undersign the constitution of the Star of Azazel, it’s seven principles and the three theosophical articles. In order to gain membership into Lodge Phanes, you must be a minimum of eighteen years of age. Political views must be left out of communication and practice within the lodge and the Star of Azazel.
Those wishing to apply should send a freeform letter to the address below. Remember to include your full name, address, date of birth, any membership in other spiritual/occult societies or organisations (be that present or historical) and tell us about yourself in a general way, including your experience, expectations and aims within occultism. Please also remember to undersign and date your letter, and to let us know you accept the Star of Azazel’s constitution and principles.
